Arild Ostbo - Beaten three times in loss Ostbo recorded no saves and allowed three goals in Wednesday's 3-1 defeat against VfB Stuttgart.

Impact Ostbo was beaten three times by Ermedin Demirovic, who scored a hat-trick, and he didn't have the chance to make a single save the rest of the way. Ostbo's fantasy upside will be strictly matchup-based, as he might have some upside in home games, but that's pretty much it. His next two matches are against Bayern Munich and Aston Villa, where there won't be a ton of upside for the goalkeeper.

Gianni Stensness - Makes eight clearances in loss Stensness recorded one tackle (zero won) and eight clearances in Wednesday's 3-1 defeat to VfB Stuttgart.

Impact Viking looked overmatched in this loss, and the defense didn't find a way to stop Ermedin Demirovic, who scored a hat-trick. However, Stensness at least notched eight clearances, so he had some minor upside via defensive stats. Stensness should remain a key player on defense for Viking, but his fantasy upside won't be very high in a team that'll be an underdog in most matches.

Zlatko Tripic - Scores vs. Stuttgart Tripic scored one goal to go with three shots (one on goal), eight crosses (two accurate) and five corners in Wednesday's 3-1 loss versus VfB Stuttgart.

Impact Tripic took advantage of a through ball from Henrik Bjordal, but he deserves most of the credit for the goal after taking on a Stuttgart defender, creating space inside the box and slotting a shot past Fabian Bredlow. Tripic took three shots in total, and based in his UCL opener, he should operate as Viking's go-to option on offense.

Henrik Bjordal - Credited with assist in loss Bjordal assisted once to go with two shots (one on goal), one cross (one accurate) and four chances created in Wednesday's 3-1 defeat versus VfB Stuttgart.

Impact Bjordal set up Zlatko Tripic's goal with a perfect pass from midfield, but most of the credit for the goal should go to the striker. Bjordal isn't expected to carry a ton of fantasy appeal as a midfielder in a Viking side that's bound to be an underdog in most matches.

SEPTEMBER 11 • ROTOWIRE

Kristoffer Haugen - Starts at left-back Haugen (undisclosed) is in the starting XI for Wednesday's match against Stuttgart.

Impact Haugen is fit once again as the defender recovers from an undisclosed injury, finding a spot in the starting XI immediately. He will look to continue in a starting role for the rest of the competition, appearing to be their starter at left-back when fit.

SEPTEMBER 9 • ROTOWIRE

Henrik Falchener - Fit for bench Falchener (thigh) is on the bench for Wednesday's match against Stuttgart.

Impact Flachener is back in the mix after he recovered from a thigh injury, with the defender listed to a spot on the bench. As a defender with World Cup experience, he could be a helpful option as they enter UCL play. That said, he will look to see some starting time once deemed fit enough.

Veton Berisha - Suffers new setback Berisha (undisclosed) has suffered a new setback that occurred in early August and remains in recovery, according to Kjetil Flygind of Aftenbladet.

Impact Berisha has been dealing with a pattern of fitness setbacks in recent years, and this latest blow continues that difficult run for the 32 year old forward. He made just 14 appearances in his most recent full domestic season, contributing six goals and two assists, and his recovery timeline will continue to be tracked as Viking enters the UCL season.

Kristoffer Haugen - Trains fully, option for UCL opener Haugen was dealing with a knock but was spotted training fully with the team in recent days and should be an option for Wednesday's Champions League opener against Stuttgart, the c...

Impact Haugen's return to full training is an encouraging sign after the recent knock, positioning him to be considered for selection as Viking prepares for its European opener. Haugen is a regular starter at left-back and his availability would be a big boost for the club.

SEPTEMBER 8 • ROTOWIRE

Henrik Falchener - Still dealing with thigh injury Falchener is still dealing with a thigh injury, and ongoing transfer rumors might have also influenced his availability, leaving him doubtful for Wednesday's Champions League opene...

Impact Falchener had been spotted back on Viking's training pitch two weeks ago after missing time with the injury, a positive sign that comes as the club looks to keep hold of the defender for its European campaign. His uncertain status for the opener will continue to be monitored as Viking approaches the match.

SEPTEMBER 7 • ROTOWIRE

Anders Baertelsen - Suffers foot fracture Baertelsen suffered a foot fracture in training and underwent surgery since then, with the club confirming he will be out for several months.

Impact Baertelsen made 11 Eliteserien appearances this season, and scoring one goal in four UCL qualification games, before this setback interrupted his campaign. He will now begin his rehabilitation process.

SEPTEMBER 7 • ROTOWIRE

Sondre Bjorshol - Out for several weeks Bjorshol (knee) was spotted on crutches following Viking's 2-1 win over Aalesund and will be out for several weeks, according to TV2.

Impact Bjorshol made 12 Eliteserien appearances this season, contributing one goal and one assist, and had not started the second leg against Dinamo Zagreb before coming on in the 60th minute for Henrik Heggheim. His absence is a blow for Viking's back line as the club will begin his UCL campaign.
