Impact Mings is continuing to ramp up his fitness, as the defender was back in team training again. This is a great sign for him, with a return likely pending soon. That said, his next chance to return will be Saturday when facing Everton.

Impact This was thought to be the case for Mings and it's unfortunately the second knee surgery required from a regular starter for Villa the first week of the season.
