Working on recovery Mings continues to build strength and work on his recovery following a torn ACL.

Impact Mings has lossed a significant amount of muscle in his leg following months on the sideline after ACL surgery. He's not expected to return this season given that he's only in the gym and building strength in his knee in late March. If all goes well, he may be in light training in a month or two, but it'll likely take a few months before he's ready to take part in a match.

Impact This was thought to be the case for Mings and it's unfortunately the second knee surgery required from a regular starter for Villa the first week of the season. While they had decent depth entering the campaign, that's already diminishing, as Pau Torres and Diego Carlos will get chances for more time without Mings on the back line.
