Tosin Adarabioyo - Soccer News, Rumors, & Updates

Limited to minimal role so far Adarabioyo has played just five minutes off the bench for the Spurs in the current EPL campaign.

Impact Adarabioyo joined Tottenham in the final hours of the transfer window and has played just five minutes off the bench in the EPL so far. With Micky van de Ven and Jan Paul van Hecke starting at center-back, and Marcos Senesi being a reliable option as well, Adarabioyo has his work cut out to play regularly for the Spurs in the Premier League when the season resumes after the break if all the center-backs remain healthy.

Signs with Tottenham Adarabioyo completed a permanent transfer from Chelsea to Tottenham on Tuesday.

Impact Adarabioyo wasn't expected to see regular -- or any -- playing time at Chelsea since he was at the bottom of the depth chart in terms of center-backs for manager Xabi Alonso. He should compete for a role at center-back in Roberto De Zerbi's squad, and in a worst-case scenario, he'll fill the same depth role Kevin Danso had before joining Sunderland.

Trains separate from main group Adarabioyo has been dropped from first-team training as his future with the club remains in doubt, according to Peter Rutzler of Times Sports.

Impact Adarabioyo is heading towards a potential move out of Chelsea, as the defender has been training away from the first team in a group of players that are not in Xabi Alonso's plans. This comes after two seasons with the club in more of a rotational role, never truly making his stamp on the team with his 23 starts in 38 appearances. He was likely to lose minutes either way after the addition of Maxence Lacroix, so this shouldn't shake up too much defensively for Chelsea.

On bench for FA Cup final Adarabioyo (undisclosed) has been named among the substitutes for Saturday's FA Cup final against Manchester City.

Impact Adarabioyo's place on the bench confirms the club opted to manage his fitness carefully after picking up an injury during Friday's final training session. Levi Colwill has been named in the starting lineup in his place, with Adarabioyo available as an impact option should Chelsea require him during the match at Wembley.

Doubt for FA Cup final Adarabioyo (undisclosed) is a doubt for Saturday's FA Cup final after picking up an injury during Friday's final training session, according to Will Faulks of Chelsea News.

Impact Adarabioyo will undergo a late fitness test before a final decision is made on his availability for the showpiece fixture at Wembley. His potential absence is unlikely to significantly disrupt Chelsea's defensive plans given that Levi Colwill is fit and available to start at center-back, with the club having enough cover in the back line to manage without Adarabioyo if he cannot be cleared in time for the final.

Scores goal against Port Vale Adarabioyo scored one goal to go with nine clearances in Saturday's 7-0 FA Cup quarterfinal win over Port Vale.

Impact Adarabioyo buried Chelsea's fourth goal in the 57th minute, climbing above everyone to get on the end of Malo Gusto's clipped service from the right and powering a header into the bottom corner for his seventh goal since joining the club in 2024. He also turned in a calm and polished shift at the back alongside Wesley Fofana in what was labeled a routine defensive day, winning three aerial duels and racking up nine clearances while Port Vale managed just four total shot attempts and failed to put a single effort on target over the full 90 minutes. Adarabioyo has now found the net in two of his last four FA Cup appearances, though he still looks like a rotational piece for the Blues after making just two starts in his last eight appearances.

Makes bench Friday Adarabioyo (hamstring) is on the bench for Friday's FA Cup game against Hull City.

Impact Adarabioyo will be an option at center-back, but this time, manager Liam Rosenior has opted to start Wesley Fofana and Mamadou Sarr at the position. Adarabioyo should see regular playing time going forward as long as he stays fit.

Impact Adarabioyo has missed the last six games in all competitions with a hamstring issue but he is close to full fitness after returning to full team training Wednesday and will be a late decision for Friday's matchup against Hull City. The center-back has mostly operated as a depth piece for the Blues this season and that role is not expected to shift under new coach Liam Rosenior.

Remains out Adarabioyo (hamstring) is out for Tuesday's match against Leeds United.

Impact Adarabioyo was training this week and was looking to be an option Tuesday, but is still not in the call, with the training appearing not to be enough to play. This extends his absence to six games, although after the close call, he could be an option when facing Hull City on Friday.

Impact Adarabioyo was only training the past week individually, but after joining his teammates on Monday, he appears to be an option for Tuesday. This comes after five games out for the defender, last playing Jan. 17. He started in three straight games before his injury, but has only started in around half of his appearances on the team sheet this season, likely a bench option immediately after the injury.

Trains individually Adarabioyo (hamstring) is training individually, according to manager Liam Rosenior. "Tosin was back out on the pitch today doing his individual rehab."

Impact Adarabioyo is seeing some progress in his return from a hamstring injury, with the defender back in training, although only working individually. He has already missed three games, so this is positive for the club, potentially returning in the next week or two. He started in the three games before his injury, so they will await him being an option.

Impact Adarabioyo was already deemed to have suffered a hamstring injury, but has now had a timeline put in place, with the defender set to miss a few weeks. This is a tough loss after three straight starts for the defender, likely opening up a spot for Wesley Fofana to return to the starting XI. Adarabioyo will look to return come the start of February, likely around the second week, missing their final two UCL games.

Impact Adarabioyo couldn't make it to the hour-mark in Saturday's win against the Bees since he felt something in his hamstring and was forced off the pitch. The center-back will likely be assessed in the coming days to know the extend of that issue. Adarabioyo was in the starting squad in the last three games across all competitions for the Blues, therefore if his issue reveals to be an important one, Wesley Fofana could be set to replace him in the starting XI until he returns.
