Loaned to Montreal Gillier has been loaned to Montreal from Bologna, according to his new club.

Impact Gillier just joined Bologna on a permanent deal but will almost immediately leave on loan, set to serve the rest of the 2025 campaign with Montreal in MLS. However, this does involve a deal with a loan extension until 2026. He will not be able to play until July 24, the start of the secondary transfer window, although he will have to beat out Jonathan Sirois before he even looks at starting time.

Moves to Bologna Gillier has joined Bologna on a permanent deal from Universidad Catolica.

Impact Gillier starred 26 times for his previous team, allowing 31 goals and keeping eight clean sheets. He'll compete for backup duties behind Lukas Skorupski if he's not loaned out to another team to gain experience.
