Absent from injury report Magno (shoulder) is absent from the NYC FC injury report for Sunday's trip to Montreal.
Impact Magno trained in full on Friday and is available with no injury designation for Sunday's trip. Impact Magno missed last weekend's Round One win over Miami after suffering a shoulder injury on Decision Day, but he could be back against Montreal on Sunday. He had tallied a combined six shots and three chances created with one goal and two assists in his last two appearances before getting injured, so his return would be a welcome boost for New York City's attack. Heber is likely to continue at center forward if Magno isn't quite fit enough to start.

Out Monday Magno (shoulder) is not in the squad for Monday's match against Inter Miami.
Impact Magno was injured in the season finale a week ago and he apparently hasn't recovered despite not being listed on the injury report. It's clear NYC FC's injury report wasn't exactly truthful when it came out last week, as Tayvon Gray is also not in the squad. Without Magno, Heber is starting up front Monday.

Scores goal, assist against Orlando Magno scored a goal and recorded an assist in Sunday's 2-1 victory against Orlando City. He took three shots and created three chances overall in the match.
Impact Magno was excellent in his side's come-from-behind win on Sunday, setting up Alexander Callens for the equalizer and then scoring the winner himself. He's up to seven goals and seven assists on the season now and crucially, these were his first goal involvements in almost two months. As the striker, he needs to find his scoring boots again as New York City heads into the playoffs as a favorable seed in the Eastern Conference.

His goal exhibited the world-class skill and technique this Brazilian teenager possesses. From a cross into the penalty area he coolly controlled the ball with his chest and with a slight turn volleyed it into the top left hand corner of the net, From 14 appearances (13 starts) Magno has now scored three and provided four assists. He should be a pivotal player in NYC's next match against local rivals the Red Bulls.
