Heads back to Augsburg Mounie will return to parent club FC Augsburg following the conclusion of his loan spell at Alanyaspor.

Impact Mounie is back at Augsburg following a loan at Alanyaspor that brought limited playing time, with the striker mostly used off the bench across 23 appearances, though he still found the net three times. Augsburg sent him to Turkey last summer after he struggled for a regular spot behind the club's other attacking options, and with his contract running through 2027, preseason will determine whether he fits into the club's plans or heads out again.
