Available again Escudero made the squad list for Wednesday's trip to Levante after recovering from COVID-19.

Impact Escudero is a nice inclusion to have, but he'll be slotted in as Marcos Acuna's backup at left-back. Escudero has made five starts this season, so it's not out of the realm of possibility that he'll get another chance to start before the end of the season.

Tests positive for COVID-19. Escudero isn't expected to return to training until next week after testing positive for COVID-19, according to Alvaro Borrego of El Desmarque.

Impact Escudero missed the last match against Atletico Madrid but isn't likely to play much at the moment with Marcos Acuna fully healthy. He'll still hope to return to the team by the Apr. 18 match at Real Sociedad.

Impact Escudero makes an immediate return to the starting XI Saturday after being out since Nov. 24 because of a dislocated elbow. It's unknown where he's at fitness wise, but he's in his usual spot at left-back and if all goes well, he'll remain there the rest of the season.

Dislocates elbow in UCL match Escudero suffered a dislocated left elbow during Tuesday's 2-1 win over Krasnodar. He'll be out for at least ten weeks.

Impact Escudero was set to start regularly with Marcos Acuna (muscular) out, but instead went down in the middle of Tuesday's match. Aleix Vidal, who has played on both flanks in the past, is an option to start at left-back, although Karim Rekik may need to play out of position if chosen as Escudero's short-term replacement.

Injures knee against Krasnodar Escudero appeared to have suffered a knee injury and was carted off in the 61st minute of Tuesday's match against Krasnodar. Karim Rekik came on as a replacement.

Impact While it was hard to tell what happened, Escudero needing a cart to leave the field isn't a good first impression. This injury would leave Sevilla short of their first two choices at left-back, although Marcos Acuna (strain) shouldn't be out for long. If both can't play Saturday against Huesca, we may see someone else play out of position, just as Karim Rekik had to do as a central defender deployed on the left due to Escudero's injury.

Scores as substitute Escudero scored off the bench in Saturday's win over Celta de Vigo. He finished with one shot on target, one chance created, three crosses, one tackle and one interception.

Impact Escudero came into the game midway through the first half replacing Marcos Acuna, and he delivered an impressive performance while also scoring the team's third goal. This was his first goal of the season in three appearances and that might be enough to believe he could start Tuesday against Krasnodar in the UCL.
