Impact Ajayi continues to carry a real threat from set pieces at the other end of the pitch. The centre back rose unmarked to meet a corner at Stamford Bridge and steered his header onto the woodwork, and the rebound was worked back into the box for Mohamed Belloumi to put Hull in front. His defensive return was modest with one tackle, one interception and one clearance, but he saw out the full match for a side that has yet to taste defeat since coming up, and his aerial presence from dead balls could keep giving Hull an extra route to goal.
