Impact Kowalczyk had his contract option picked up after a solid 2024 campaign. He stepped into the starting XI in a big way, making 35 appearances, totaling 2,259 minutes played. He was good for five goal contributions (four goals, one assist) and is now set to return to Houston.

Impact Kowalczyk was one of the few decent performers for the Dynamo in a game where the team was outplayed on both sides of the ball. He has gone five straight starts without finding the back of the net, but since he's averaging 2.0 shots per match in that span, it wouldn't be surprising if the midfielder finds the back of the net sooner rather than later.

Signs with Houston Kowalczyk is heading to Houston after agreeing to a year and a half year deal with the Houston Dynamo from Polish side Pogon Szczecin, with a club option for 2025 and 2026.

Impact Kowalczyk spend his whole career with Ekstraklasa side Pogon Szczecin, the topflight of Polish football. He's made 169 appearances since 2016 with the senior team, scoring 19 goals. The midfielder has also been featured with the Polish U17 and U21 side.
