Signs extension through 2027 Breza signed a contract extension with Montreal through 2027, the club announced.

Impact Breza made just three appearances during his fourth season in MLS, but he was enough of a contributor behind the scenes to earn a two-year extension. He will now be back with Montreal through 2027. Even with the extension he's likely to remain a depth option for the most part moving forward.

Impact Breza could do little to prevent the onslaught that Montreal suffered at the hands of Toronto on Saturday. The 27 year old faced eight shots on target, conceded six goals, and made just two saves. It was just Breza's second start of the MLS season, and he has failed to keep a clean sheet in either game. It remains to be seen whether he will be in net against Forge tomorrow.

Impact Breza joined Montreal on-loan from Bologna in April 2021, but he never fully locked down the starting goalkeeper job over James Pantemis, and the 24-year-old is now set to return to Serie A.
