Credited with own goal Berge registered an own goal, four tackles (three won) and one clearance in Tuesday's 5-4 loss versus Manchester City.
Impact Begre would be on the unfortunate end of a Manchester City scoring play Tuesday, with the midfielder deflecting a Jeremy Doku shot into the net in the 54th minute, unfortunately being the game-clinching goal for City. Logging consistent minutes Berge has started in each of Fulham's seven matches in the 2025/26 Premier League so far.
Impact Berge has been a regular in midfield for Fulham regardless of who's playing alongside him. That said, the Norway international doesn't have a lot of fantasy upside in him due to the defensive-minded nature of his role in the middle of the park.
OCTOBER 10 • ROTOWIRE
Starter early Berge started the first two matches of the Premier League.
Impact Berge has always been a player that struggles to fill the stat sheet, and he's continued that despite starting each of the first two Premier League matches. Berge was given a rest during Wednesday's Carabao Cup clash, but remains a consistent part of the starting XI in the Premier League. Even with a consistent role, Berge has little opportunity to offer much on either side of the ball, as he mostly focuses on recycling possession.
AUGUST 27 • ROTOWIRE
Silent work in midfield Berge recorded 59 tackles, 43 clearances, 23 interceptions and 20 chances created over 34 matches (28 starts) in the 2024/25 season.
Impact Berge was involved in most games when fit, but he didn't make any goal contributions, being more of a ball retriever in his first campaign for Fulham. The Norway international made 15 consecutive starts before dropping to a bench spot for the season finale. While he can continue to help the team if he stays on the roster, the current formation makes him unappealing in terms of offensive production, especially with his midfield partners Andreas Pereira and Sasa Lukic offering higher upside through set pieces.

Impact Berge looks to be a late call for Tuesday's match, facing a fitness test ahead of the match to decide his availability. This will hopefully end his four-match absence due to an ankle injury. Impact Berge has missed only one match in the last 11 games for Fulham, starting every match he was available for. His potential absence would be a significant loss in midfield. The Norwegian has made 26 tackles, 14 interceptions, and 18 clearances in 14 games this season, highlighting his importance in defensive support. Tom Cairney and the young Joshua King, who started the last match against Southampton, could step in for Berge if he is unavailable.

Impact Berge was one of Fulham's most effective midfielders Sunday, making challenges and good passes to help the team secure one point. He'll be instrumental if Fulham hope to get a similar result on the road against league leaders Liverpool next Saturday.

Impact Berge missed out Saturday with no prior notice of an absence, with the midfielder being sat due to an apparent illness ahead of game time. That said, he likely won't miss much time, probably recovering over the week.
