Dealt to Philly Adeniran has completed a transfer to Philadelphia from St. Louis, according to his new club.

Impact Aderniran hasn't trained with St. Louis recently due to talks of a transfer, with that finally coming to fruition after he completed a move to Philadelphia. He has started in four of his 17 appearances in the current season with St. Louis, scoring two goals and registering one assist. He will now look to capture a larger role with Philadelphia, although he will have to beat out the likes of Mikael Uhre and Tai Baribo.

Headed to STL Adeniran was acquired by St. Louis City SC from Seattle Sounders, the club announced Thursday.

Impact Adeniran is a 6-foot-4 forward, originally from Nigeria, who proved himself at three different levels of US Soccer in 2022. He appeared in two matches (one start) for Seattle this past MLS season. St. Louis remitted $100,000 in general allocation money to facilitate the deal and will no doubt be looking to the 24-year-old for some inaugural goal scoring in 2023.
