Steady presence in midfield
Morsy recorded 33 appearances (31 starts) in the Premier League, tallying one goal, one assist, 24 chances created, 68 tackles, 29 interceptions and 44 clearances.
Impact
Morsy wasn't much of an attacking threat for the Tractor Boys, which makes sense given his holding role in midfield, but he still provided decent value from his defensive-minded position. Morsy is good enough to remain in the Premier League, but it's unclear if he'll sign with another team or if he'll remain with Ipswich in the 2025/26 Championship season. If the latter ends up being the case, Morsy should be a key player for Ipswich.

Available Saturday
Morsy (hamstring) is available for Saturday's clash with Leicester, according to manager Kieran McKenna.
Impact
Morsy is available Saturday, but he may not be fit enough for the start. The midfielder has started all but one match, and gone the full 90 almost every week. The fact he's fit once more should be a major boon, though if he's not fit to start, Jens Cajuste would likely be in line for another start in holding midfield.

Solid defensively
Morsy registered six tackles (three won) and four clearances in Saturday's 4-1 loss to Manchester City. In addition, he was given a yellow card in the 36th minute.
Impact
Morsy didn't see much action in the attack due to the relentless press and possession of Manchester City but still provided on the defensive side of the ball despite the loss, notching one block, four clearances and six tackles. He has now started in both matches this campaign, although he hasn't been too productive, with most of his stats coming on the defensive side of the ball.
