Pens extension through 2027 Johnstone signed an extension through the 2026/27 season with Crystal Palace.

Impact Johnstone earned the top job before 2023/24 and now has a long-term deal to go with it. The goalkeeper has kept four clean sheets in 2023/24 and has made 23 saves in 10 matches. Dean Henderson (hip) is a talented backup and could provide some competition but for now it seems to be Johnstone's job to lose.
