Impact Boey is continuing to make improvements, with the defender set to return to team training within the next week. This is great news, as he shouldn't miss much more time, likely returning following the November international break. The club will hope this is the case, with the defender last featuring against Kiel on Sept. 14.

Impact Boey had a rough campaign due to injuries in the 2023/24 campaign and that looks to be continuing over to the new season, as he will now miss out for a solid chunk of time after completing surgery on a torn meniscus. He will likely be out for at least the next three months with the issue, although it could be anywhere from six to nine months depending on the severity of the tear. This is a brutal outcome for the player, as he has started in two matches this season, likely forcing Raphael Guerreiro and Konrad Laimer into more minutes.
