Out with eye injury Whitecaps manager Vanni Sartini said Friday that Teibert will have to miss a few weeks with an eye injury he suffered against Cavalry FC in the Canadian Championship on Wednesday.

Impact Teiburt was subbed out of Wednesday's game in the 51st minute after getting hit in the eye by the ball, and he is set to miss at least Saturday's MLS clash against Sporting KC while he recovers. Leonard Owusu or Michael Baldisimo could replace him in midfield for the match.

First assist in win Teibert provided one assist on one chance created during Wednesday's 2-1 win over Dallas.

Impact Teibert earned a secondary helper during Wednesday's 2-1 win over Dallas. It's the first assist of the campaign for the midfielder. While he isn't often a major fantasy provider the hope is that Teibert can build off a 2021 where he created 29 chances, more than double any other season in his career. Next up is a Sunday trip to Charlotte.

Impact Teibert's season was brought to an end by Kansas City, but it was his best season in recent memory as he tallied a goal and two assists in 34 appearances (30 starts) for Vancouver. The veteran will head into next year wanting to build on his team's first playoff berth since 2017.

Impact Teibert was solid on both sides of the ball on Saturday and he set up the lone goal of the game. We will want to have a similar performance Wednesday against the Dynamo, which are 12th in the Western Conference.

Impact Teibert has some of the worst form in the Whitecaps club right now and he was luckily saved by an assist here. The midfielder has yet to make an impact this season and it does not come as a surprise. Teibert has never truly made an impact in the Major Soccer League and it seems as if his time is starting to run out. Until he can gain form, he is to be passed for better options.

Impact Teibert was left on the bench for Sunday's 3-0 loss to Sporting KC, but has otherwise regularly started on the left side of the midfield. With Deiber Caicedo also capable of playing on the left but more productive on the right, Teibert should still get plenty of chances to play though he may not offer much for fantasy.
