Impact Perraud makes somewhat of a surprise return Wednesday after missing everything the last two months because of a "fracture in his leg." Fitness has to be a concern with the season less than two weeks away, but it appears he's healthy again and ready to return to the starting XI. His return is a nice boost ahead of the season after he featured regularly when healthy last campaign.

Starting friendly Perraud (leg) is starting Wednesday's friendly against Monaco.

Impact Perraud suffered a fractured leg towards the end of the 2021/22 Premier League campaign but has been back in training in pre-season. The full-back made 20 appearances and 18 starts during his debut campaign with Southampton, numbers he will hope to build on in his sophomore season with the club.

Out with fracture in leg Perraud will miss the next month with "a fracture in his leg," according to manager Ralph Hasenhuttl.

Impact Perraud went a full 90 last league match, so he must've fractured his leg in training, which is never a good thing. His season ends on somewhat of a sour note, but he put in a decent campaign in his first for Southampton, totaling an assist, 19 shots and 69 crosses in 20 appearances (18 starts).
