Set for surgery later this week Mitchell has suffered a left knee injury that will require surgery, the club announced Thursday.

Impact Mitchell looks to already be dealing with a major injury in his young career, as he is now set to receive surgery, likely leaving the 21-year-old out for the rest of the campaign. There is a chance he could be back with the team near the end of the season, but they will be in no rush to get him back on the field, as he mainly features with New York Red Bulls II, only appearing off the bench for 16 minutes in two appearances with the first team this campaign.
