GAME LOG

Fully fit for new season Henry (hamstring) is fully fit to start the 2026/27 season and is training at full speed during Brentford's preseason camp in Cascais, the club posted.
Impact Henry finished last season limited to 25 appearances (14 starts), after a hamstring injury cost him the final two months of the campaign, closing out the year with just one assist. His fully healthy return to preseason is an encouraging sign following the contract extension he signed through 2026/27, and his availability positions him to regain his regular role at left back as he begins his 11th season with the club.
JULY 19 • ROTOWIRE
Signs extension with Brentford Henry signed a one-year contract extension with Brentford through the end of the 2026-27 season, the club announced.
Impact Henry is now entering his 11th season in west London having joined from Walsall in August 2016, making 239 appearances for the club including 30 last season. The full-back reached the milestone of 100 Premier League appearances in January's home fixture against Nottingham Forest and made his international debut for Jamaica in a World Cup qualifier against Trinidad and Tobago in November. A knee injury sustained at Bournemouth cut short what had been a strong run of form, and coach Keith Andrews highlighted the importance of a productive offseason and pre-season to get him back to his best for the start of next campaign.
JUNE 1 • ROTOWIRE
Out for season finale Henry (hamstring) is out for Sunday's match against Liverpool, according to his club.
Impact Henry was unlikely to return this campaign after a hamstring injury, and that has come to fruition, as the defender is out for the season finale. This is a rough way to end for the defender after a mostly fit season, having missed the last two months of the campaign. He ends the season with only a singular assist while being involved in three clean sheets in 25 appearances (14 starts).
MAY 21 • ROTOWIRE
Not expected to be available Henry (hamstring) isn't expected to play in the final two games of the season, according to manager Keith Andrews. "He's still training to a point," Andrews revealed. "Coming back,...
Impact Henry hasn't appeared since March due to a nagging hamstring problem, and while he's back in training, he might not have enough time to be an option for the Bees. If that's the case, Henry would finish the season having started on 14 of his 25 EPL appearances, tallying 25 crosses, 41 clearances, 15 tackles and an assist. He's certainly a starter-level player when healthy, but injuries have limited him considerably over the last few years.
MAY 14 • ROTOWIRE
Not ready Henry (hamstring) is not yet an option for play, according to manager Keith Andrews. "Rico was back on the grass on Friday, but he won't be involved... he's not ready yet."
Impact Henry is still working on his fitness levels after training on grass this week, as the full-back has not been cleared for play. This will extend his absence to seven matches for the defender, a rough spell as the season comes to an end. He will now have two more games to make a return, potentially taking place next week if he can start to fully train.
MAY 8 • ROTOWIRE
Trains on grass Henry (hamstring) is training on grass, but a return remains unknown, according to manager Keith Andrews. "They're doing well. I've just walked past all three of them, they've been...
Impact Henry is making further progress in his return from a hamstring injury, but still needs more time, with the full-back entering the training field for minimal training. This still leaves a return open for this season, although he will have to wait until May. He started in 14 of his 25 appearances before the injury, recording an assist and three clean sheets.
APRIL 24 • ROTOWIRE
Hopeful to play again Henry (hamstring) is hopeful to return to play by the end of the season, according to manager Keith Andrews. [Rico] just isn't ready right now. We'll see... we've got five or six w...
Impact Henry is still not ready for a return and seems to be in question to see the field again this season, as it is not yet confirmed. However, he is still hopeful this will take place, even if it doesn't come until May. He has been their starter at left-back for a solid chunk of the season after struggling for time over the past two campaigns due to injury, so he will hope to be fit for the end of the season, earning 14 starts in 25 appearances.
APRIL 17 • ROTOWIRE
Another match out Henry (hamstring) is out for Saturday's match against Everton, according to his club.
Impact Henry was eyeing a return to play after the break, but will still need further time, not an option to face the Toffees. This is unfortunate for the defender, as he will now wait to see if he can train in the coming week, potentially an option to face Fulham on April 18. This will mark a fourth straight missed match for the full-back.
APRIL 10 • ROTOWIRE

Impact Henry remains sidelined and might not find many more chances to play this season due to his injury struggles. With Aaron Hickey (hamstring) also hurt, either Keane Lewis-Potter or Kristoffer Ajer may be deployed at left-back in upcoming games. Henry had delivered one assist while averaging 1.6 clearances per contest over 25 EPL appearances (14 starts) this season.

Impact Henry has battled hamstring injuries for the better part of the last two years, and right when he was reaching a steady level in his performance, he'll have to spend time on the sidelines once again. Henry's absence means Keane Lewis-Potter could slot on the left side of the defense, although Kristoffer Ajer is also an alternative to play in a wider role, which would move Nathan Collins into center-back.
MARCH 6 • ROTOWIRE
Forced off early Tuesday Henry picked up an apparent injury in the 21st minute of Tuesday's clash with Bournemouth.
Impact Henry left the field during his ninth consecutive league start just after delivering his first assist of the season in the previous game. The left-back is now at risk of missing the next match against West Ham, but the severity of his issue remains unknown. Kristoffer Ajer replaced him midweek and could move into the initial lineup in the event of a serious injury for Henry.

His best season in the Premeir League has seen him provide two assists, having created 23 chances across the entire year. Two of his four chances created came in this game.

Impact Henry kept his second clean sheet of the season Thursday, both of which have come in the last three matches. He won two duels, made two clearances and won one tackle on that end of the pitch. On the attack he recorded a season-high four crosses, but he failed to record an accurate cross and missed the target on his lone shot attempt.

Man City player ratings vs Brentford: Who needs Erling Haaland?! Sublime Rayan Cherki leads Cityzens into Carabao Cup semis as goal machine rests up on the bench
Finds bench role in backline Henry made six Premier League appearances this season for Brentford, five of them coming off the bench.
Impact Henry ended last season as a bench option following his long-term hamstring injury and has started this campaign in similar fashion, featuring in only one of his six Premier League appearances in the opener against Nottingham Forest. Aaron Hickey and Keane Lewis-Potter appear ahead of him in the backline hierarchy, which could make it difficult for him to see increased playing time moving forward.
OCTOBER 10, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Plays during offseason Henry appeared for 45 minutes off the bench in a friendly against Gil Vicente on Friday.
Impact Henry took the field for a friendly this week, seeing his first time with the team this offseason. He ended last season in more of a rotational role, fighting for time on the left flank. However, with the return of Aaron Hickey this season, his role seems to be dwindling, likely to only lose even more minutes this season, especially if injuries continue to be an issue.
JULY 26, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Starts with B team Henry got the start for the Brentford B team during Monday's match.
Impact Henry has been unused on the bench in the past two Premier League matches and now is getting more minutes with the B team. The defender should be a consistent contributor with the senior team when fully fit, but the club is being cautious with his fitness.

Sees time with reserves Henry (hamstring) featured in Brentford's U21 team on Monday against Fleetwood Town.
Impact Henry is seeing some playing time as he works his way back from an injury, with the defender seeing a spot with the younger lads Monday. This is solid news, as he is at least back in action again, having missed out since Jan. 14 due to his injury. Playing Wednesday is out of the picture after he tested his legs Monday, although a return should be on the horizon.
MARCH 31, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Logs 45 minutes in friendly Henry (hamstring) played 45 minutes in a behind-closed-doors friendly match against Gil Vicente on Friday.
Impact Henry hasn't been fully healthy since the 2023/24 season, as he's had to deal with several injuries and even more setbacks during the recovery process, both from knee and hamstring problems, that have limited him to just seven appearances between Premier League and FA Cup in the last two campaigns. He seems to be trending in the right direction, however, as he's been playing with the U21 squad of late, and the 45 minutes he received in this friendly match will undoubtedly boost his fitness. Keane Lewis-Potter has been playing at left-back for the Bees, but Henry should recover the starting role if he proves to be healthy at some point before the end of the 2024/25 campaign.
MARCH 21, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
