GAME LOG

Records assist in win Ait-Nouri assisted a goal and made two clearances in Saturday's 3-1 victory against Southampton. He also won two of two tackles in the match.
Impact Ait-Nouri made his first appearance in just over a month Saturday after recovering from an undisclosed injury, and he looked good in his return as he set up Adama Traore's stoppage-time goal against Southampton. He will want to do it again next weekend versus Brentford, which are 14th in the Premier League table.
JANUARY 15, 2022 • ROTOWIRE
Makes bench Monday Ait-Nouri (undisclosed) is on the bench for Monday's match against Manchester United.
Impact Ait-Nouri is back in the squad Monday after missing the last two weeks, but he's on the bench, so he's healthy not fully fit or Fernando Marcal has retaken the job on the left wing. When healthy, Ait-Nouri was a quality fantasy option and was splitting set pieces for Wolves.
JANUARY 3, 2022 • ROTOWIRE
Will miss at least one match Ait-Nouri is still being assessed for his injury suffered Wednesday, but he'll miss Sunday's match against Chelsea, confirmed manager Bruno Lage.
Impact Wolves never give too much away with their injuries and this is another case with Ait-Nouri, as it's still unclear what his injury is, though reports have it as an adductor issue. The good news for Wolves is that Fernando Marcal is a quality wing-back and can fill in no matter how long Ait-Nouri is out.
DECEMBER 17, 2021 • ROTOWIRE
Injured in warmups Ait-Nouri was injured in warmups and has been replaced in the starting XI Wednesday against Brighton by Fernando Marcal.
Impact This is a massive change for fantasy implications, as Ait-Nouri has been one of Wolverhampton's better players. In his place, Marcal is back in the XI, meaning Joao Moutinho and Daniel Podence will likely be on the majority of set pieces.
DECEMBER 15, 2021 • ROTOWIRE
Starting versus Man City Ait-Nouri (knock) will get the nod in Saturday's game against Manchester City.
Impact Ait-Nouri left the last game a little earlier, but he shook off the knock quickly and will continue starting. He has posted six shots, 45 crosses and 31 tackles in nine appearances so far.
DECEMBER 11, 2021 • ROTOWIRE
Should be good for Saturday Ait-Nouri (knock) wasn't mentioned by manager Bruno Lage ahead of Saturday's match against Manchester City.
Impact Ait-Nouri had to come off in the final minutes last weekend and unsurprisingly, it looks like he's ready to start again Saturday. He's had some nice performances this season, but playing away to Man City is unlikely to produce a ton of fantasy action.
DECEMBER 10, 2021 • ROTOWIRE
Comes off injured against Liverpool Ait-Nouri was subbed out of Saturday's defeat against Liverpool in the 92nd minute after suffering an apparent injury. He made three clearances and won five of eight tackles in the...
Impact Wolves manager Bruno Lage confirmed Ait-Nouri's injury after Saturday's game but he wasn't sure of the extent quite yet. Fernando Marcal (illness) might be able to fill in for him on the left wing Saturday if necessary, but he tested positive for COVID-19 last week and might not be fit in time.
DECEMBER 6, 2021 • ROTOWIRE
Sends in 10 crosses in draw Ait-Nouri had two off-target shots, sent in 10 crosses (two accurate) and made three tackles during Wednesday's scoreless draw against Burnley.
Impact Ait-Nouri had another impressive performance on the offensive end, providing width from the left flank and reaching double digits in crosses for the second time over the last three starts. The full-back will try to remain productive during Saturday's home match against Liverpool.
DECEMBER 2, 2021 • ROTOWIRE
Another all-around stat line Ait-Nouri logged 14 crosses, 10 corner kicks and four tackles won during a win Saturday versus West Ham United.
Impact Ait-Nouri has been the Wolves' most versatile midfielder since becoming a temporary starter in place of Fernando Marcal. The former averaged 6.7 crosses and 2.5 corner kicks attempted across their last four league games. On defense, Ait-Nouri won 10 tackles during that span.
NOVEMBER 23, 2021 • ROTOWIRE
Makes seven tackles in loss Ait-Nouri sent in five crosses (one accurate), made seven tackles (four won) and drew two fouls during Saturday's 2-0 loss against Crystal Palace.
Impact Ait-Nouri made his third consecutive start and was once again able to impact on both ends from the left flank, with team highs in both tackles and crosses. Fernando Marcal (calf) is still the first choice for the starting XI, but if he can't recover on time for Nov. 20 clash against West Ham Ait-Nouri showed that is more than ready to contribute.
NOVEMBER 8, 2021 • ROTOWIRE
First assist of season Ait-Nouri had an assist while crossing six times (two accurate) and creating two chances during Monday's 2-1 win over Everton.
Impact Ait-Nouri set up Max Kilman in the 28th minute assisting the opening goal of the match. The assist was the first of the season for the wide man while his six crosses and two chances created were both team-high totals in the win.
NOVEMBER 2, 2021 • ROTOWIRE
Strong in rare start Ait-Nouri made five tackles and three clearances during Saturday's one-all draw with Leeds.
Impact Ait-Nouri was busy defensively in his first start of the season, putting together a strong performance. The defender has been dealing with a concussion and fell out of the starting XI recently, but he has solid value when he plays. His next chance to start is Monday, against Everton.
OCTOBER 23, 2021 • ROTOWIRE
Available against Newcastle Ait-Nouri (concussion) is available for Saturday's match against Newcastle, according to manager Bruno Lage.
Impact Ait-Nouri has been training and is available again after suffering a concussion a little more than a week ago. He's struggled to find playing time in league matches and that probably won't change Saturday unless Lage has a change of heart.
OCTOBER 1, 2021 • ROTOWIRE
Out with concussion Ait-Nouri suffered a concussion midweek and will be out at least seven days, manager Bruno Lage revealed at his press conference.
Impact Ait-Nouri has played just six minutes in league play, so his absence isn't a major blow to Wolves. He's still fighting for more playing time and for now, he remains the backup to Nelson Semedo.
SEPTEMBER 24, 2021 • ROTOWIRE
Picks up possible concussion Ait-Nouri was forced off in the second half of Wednesday's Cup match with a possible concussion.
Impact Ait-Nouri has played just six minutes in league play this season, so his possible absence won't change anything for Wolves, as long as Nelson Semedo is healthy. For now, it appears Ait-Nouri will stick to non-league play when available.
SEPTEMBER 23, 2021 • ROTOWIRE
Staying with Wolves Ait-Nouri agreed to a five-year contract with Wolves that holds an option for a fifth season after making his loan from Angers permanently on Friday.
Impact Ait-Nouri made 16 starts in 21 EPL appearances last season and became a fixture in the lineup over the final two months. Because he was also able to boost his offensive production by the end of the season, Ait-Nouri could be able to do what Fernando Marcal and Jonny could not: stay healthy for a full campaign and put up solid numbers.
JULY 9, 2021 • ROTOWIRE
Ends season as regular Ait-Nouri started eight of the final nine matches of the season, totaling seven shots and 39 crosses.
Impact Ait-Nouri got a bit more run to close the season, largely because of other injuries in the side. He's set to return to Angers from his loan, but it wouldn't be surprising if he moved elsehwere after showing quality in the Premier League, starting 16 matches for Wolves last campaign.
JUNE 3, 2021 • ROTOWIRE
Eight crosses in loss Ait-Nouri sent in eight inaccurate crosses during Wednesday's 1-0 defeat to Everton.
Impact Ait-Nouri was so nearly the difference maker Wednesday, bombing forward and peppering the Everton box. He was unable to find any friendly heads or created a chance in the end, and had little to do defensively. Ait-Nouri closes the season out at home against Manchester United on Sunday.
