Impact Asencio earned a third straight start Sunday, seeing a full 90 minutes of play once again. It was his best match of the season statistically, notching one tackle won, an interception and a new season-high for a match in clearances with nine. He also helped his team to a clean sheet, his second in three starts. He should continue to see the start as the team deals with numerous injuries throughout the defense.

Tallies first assist of season Asencio assisted once to go with zero corners and one chance created in Saturday's 4-0 win against Osasuna.

Impact Asencio subbed on for the injured Eder Militao in the 30th minute, and the 21-year-old Spanish defender was able to make his mark in the match in multiple key areas. Not only was he able to register his first assist of the season, but he also made three clearances and completed two of his three long balls. Asencio could see an increase in playing time with Militao's injury, and seems to have a creative spark to go along with his defensive prowess. He will hope to earn more minutes when Real take on Leganes on Sunday, November 24.
