Impact Gvardiol didn't see much action in a game City majorly dominated, with his only significant stats being three tackles. However, he has started in both matches to open the campaign, playing the full 90 in each. He should continue in that role, especially after coming into great form to end last season.

Impact De Bruyne registered his first and second goal contributions of the season in City's second match of the season Saturday, as he would find the. net in the 14th minute and assist on an Erling Haaland goal in the 16th minute. He was very involved outside of his goal contributions as well, adding four shots, four chances created and seven crosses. That said, he looks to be at top form again, with a pace set to register 38 goal contributions this season, although that is bound to change soon only being two games into the season.

Impact Haaland is already starting to terrorize the Premier League, as in the only the second match of the campaign, he has secured his first hat trick of the season. He would meet the mark with a goal in the 12th, 16th and 88th minute, giving him four goals on the season. The Norwegian looks to be lethal as ever, with four of his seven shots finding the target, primed to be set for another great season after already starting on an outstanding pace.

Impact Ederson's day was spoiled early Saturday, as an early Ipswich shot found the back of the net in the seventh minute to ruin his clean sheet, with that being their only shot of the match. He will look to recover and pick up his second clean sheet of the season when facing West Ham on Saturday.

He has now started in both matches this campaign, although he hasn't been too productive, with most of his stats coming on the defensive side of the ball.

Impact Johnson earned his first goal contribution since joining Ipswich Sunday, finding Samuel Szmodics in the seventh minute for the opening goal of the match. He got his first start of the season after Axel Tuanzebe started at right-back in their first match. He will hope to see more time in the starting role, although it looks likely that he will only share time with Tuanzebe.
