Impact Cherki was given a bit of rest against Palace before he featured in the 79th minute. He would do well in the short time on the pitch, earning an assist on Savinho's 84th-minute goal, his second assist in three games. The French winger remains with the second most assists in the Premier League this season, despite only starting in 19 games, earning four goals and 12 assists.

Impact Foden looked to be back to his 2023/24 self as he tore up the middle of the pitch Wednesday, notching a shot, four crosses and five chances created. He would go on to earn two assists, finding Antoine Semenyo in the 32nd minute with a beautiful back heel assist before another great assist on Omar Marmoush's 40th-minute goal. This brings the English attacker to seven goals and five assists this season despite less than 2,000 minutes played, a good sign for him after inking a new deal with the club.

Impact Semenyo was back on the scoresheet Wednesday for the first time in five games, scoring in the 32nd minute to open the scoring. This marks his sixth goal in league play since joining the club, also adding one assist. That said, the winger is up to 16 goals and four assists in his 35 appearances between Bournemouth and Manchester City.

Impact Marmoush entered the starting XI Wednesday as Erling Haaland was given some rest, producing a strong 79 minutes of play. Despite a few poor attempts, the forward would still earn a goal, finding the net in the 40th minute. The Egyptian now has back-to-back games with a goal, a bright spot after seeing limited time much of the campaign. He now has three goals and three assists in 20 appearances (eight starts).

Impact Donnarumma came up with two major saves Wednesday despite the few attempts from Palace, earning a clean sheet in the process. This is now back-to-back clean sheets for the goalie, up to 15 this campaign. He needs to keep this streak going if the club wants a chance at a trophy, facing Chelsea in FA Cup play Saturday before ending the season against Bournemouth and Aston Villa.
