Suspended against Villarreal Pepelu will miss the clash against Villarreal on Jan. 3 with a suspension for yellow card accumulation.

Impact Pepelu picked up his fifth booking of the season in Monday's defeat against Valencia, meaning he will be suspended for the Villarreal match. He has started seven La Liga games this season for Levante, and Gonzalo Melero is likely to return to the lineup in midfield after recovering from a hamstring injury.

Sends in six crosses in loss Pepelu created one chance, sent in six crosses (two accurate), made three clearances and two interceptions and was shown a yellow card during Saturday's 1-0 loss against Mallorca.

Impact Pepelu was one of Levante's few bright spots here, racking up decent number on both ends. But his efforts weren't enough for his side to avoid a third straight loss. Up next for the midfielder is Oct. 17 home match against Getafe.
