Impact Aaronson found the back of the net for Colorado but it wasn't enough as Zack Steffen's own goal ultimately cost the Rapids the match. The midfielder should be able to find some openings against Houston Dynamo, a team which has allowed nine goals in five matches entering their Saturday contest.

Impact Aaronson would earn his first goal of the season Saturday, finding the back of the net in the 12th minute before adding another in the 75th minute for a brace. He is already up to three goal contributions in five appearances, appearing to be off to a great start to the campaign.

Impact Aaronson was brought in to be one of the main offensive dynamos in Colorado and he was excellent Saturday. He added an assist, created four chances and could have had even more assists with better finishing around him. It was the exact sort of performance Colorado wanted when they brought in Aaronson.

Scores in draw Aaronson scored a goal off two shots (one on target), suffered three fouls and was shown a yellow card during Saturday's 2-2 draw against LAFC.

Impact Aaronson wasn't active as usual but made up for that by being at the right place to benefit from a huge goalkeeping mistake and slot the ball home to draw things level at 1-1 just after the hour mark. This was the first goal for the playmaker since signing with the Rapids and his performances weren't enough for guaranteeing his team a playoff spot but they definitely brought a lot of hope for next season.

Moves to MLS Aaronson completed a transfer to Colorado from Eintracht Frankfurt, the club announced.

Impact Aaronson spent last season on loan with Utrecht in the Eredivisie and did well, but not well enough for Frankfurt to keep him around permanently. Instead he's off to Colorado as a DP signing and their new attacking midfielder. He has plenty of talent to be a top player in MLS and should fill the shoes left by Djordie Mihailovic in Colorado.
