Signs long-term Toronto deal Dorsch has joined Toronto FC from FC Heidenheim on a contract through the 2030-31 season, the club annouced.
Impact The 28-year-old arrives off a difficult 2025/26 campaign in which Heidenheim were relegated from the Bundesliga after a three-year stay in the top flight. He was a regular fixture for the club throughout, making 27 starts in the Bundesliga last season. Across two spells with Heidenheim, Dorsch has logged five goals and 10 assists in 133 appearances in all competitions. He brings extensive experience from stints at Bayern Munich, KAA Gent, and FC Augsburg, with over 240 senior appearances, 12 goals, and 15 assists across those clubs. His high work rate and profile as a defensive-minded ball-winner in competitive European leagues should reinforce a Toronto FC midfield in need of stability.
