Impact Fonseca was a regular presence in midfield for Leon during the 2025 Apertura campaign in Liga MX, and he'll add depth in midfield for Oviedo in the second half of the 2025/26 Liga campaign. He's expected to operate as a backup behind the duo of Santiago Colombatto, another former Leon player, and Leander Dendoncker.
