He would likely have gotten the call with Dodo (thigh) and Fabiano Parisi (undisclosed) sidelined. Pietro Comuzzo or Eddy Kouadio will adapt to the right-back position, unless the coach changes the scheme.

Absent versus Cremonese Fortini will sit out Monday's game against Cremonese due to back pain, La Gazzetta dello Sport informed.

Impact Fortini has been a regular in the UEFA Conference League, often relieving Dodo, but he hasn't featured in six straight matches in Serie A. Pietro Comuzzo will fill in at right-back if needed. Fortini will be re-evaluated next week.
