Impact Phillips spent the back half of the 2023/24 campaign on loan with Cardiff City, where he played a large role. The center-back now returns to Liverpool, likely with eyes on a depth role, or a move away from the club. Realistically it's hard for Phillips to break into the first team barring a plethora of injuries ahead of him.
