Impact Tella was summoned just before halftime to enter the match for an injured Jeremie Frimpong. In just over one half of football, the attacking midfielder provided his first assist of the season while contributing two tackles (two won) to the team's defensive effort. The 45 minute shift marked the second longest Bundesliga appearance of the season for Tella who has made just seven appearances (one start) over Leverkusen's first 11 league matches.
