GAME LOG

Tallies assist Lewis-Skelly assisted once to go with one shot (zero on goal), one cross (zero accurate) and one chance created in Tuesday's 4-0 win versus Atletico Madrid.
Impact It's generous to give Lewis-Skelly the assist on Gabriel Martinelli's goal but it counts nonetheless for the young defender. He should be a factor Sunday against Crystal Palace, though his focus will be on slowing down an attack which has produced 12 goals through eight EPL games.

Assists in cup win Lewis-Skelly provided one assist and played 90 minutes during Wednesday's 2-0 win over Port Vale.
Impact Lewis-Skelly has been relegated to the bench despite an exciting breakout season last season. Riccardo Calafiori is fit and has held the left-back role firmly, but Lewis-Skelly showed why he's such an exciting attacking option during Wednesday's cup match. He should continue to play in cups and as a rotational option moving forward.

Inks new deal with Arsenal Lewis-Skelly has signed a new deal with Arsenal until 2030, the club announced.
Impact Lewis-Skelly has signed a new contract with Arsenal. The midfielder joined the club's academy at age nine and has progressed through the youth ranks. He made his debut for the under-18s while still a schoolboy and has also featured for the under-21s. Lewis-Skelly has represented England at multiple youth levels. This season, he made 23 appearances in the Premier League and has proved to be a reliable option at left-back for a natural midfielder.
JUNE 26 • ROTOWIRE
Steps up due to injuries Lewis-Skelly made 23 appearances (15 starts) in the Premier League.
Impact Lewis-Skelly was one of the breakout players of the season, stepping into a different role at left-back despite being a natural midfielder. He excelled at left-back and was a major boon for an injury-riddled Arsenal side. With how consistent his role was in the back half of the season there's every chances Lewis-Skelly comes into next season as the top option at left-back for the Gunners. A fit Riccardo Calafiori could mean Lewis-Skelly has a chance to compete for depth minutes in his preferred role in central midfield.
JUNE 3 • ROTOWIRE
Continues in starting role Lewis-Skelly registered one chance created, two crosses and two clearances in Sunday's 1-0 win over Newcastle.
Impact Lewis-Skelly continues to see regular time for the club after claiming the spot at the start of the season, having only missed seven starts in all competitions since Dec. 14. The defender is a solid two-way threat and looks to be a decent player for the club on the left flank moving forward, with two goal contributions in his 32 appearances this season.
MAY 21 • ROTOWIRE
Assists in win Lewis-Skelly got an assist on Arsenal's final goal in a 3-0 win over Real Madrid Tuesday in the first leg of their Champions League quarterfinal tie.
Impact The young defender continues to impress for the Gunners, creating two chances and adding two tackles in the win. Lewis-Skelly should see action against Brentford Saturday and should get stats on both sides of the pitch. Brentford have scored 51 goals in league play but allowed 47, so Lewis-Skelly will be active should he get the start.
APRIL 8 • ROTOWIRE
Yanked after early yellow card Lewis-Skelly made it just 35 minutes in Tuesday's 7-1 win at PSV after getting an early yellow card.
Impact Lewis-Skelly was extremely close to being sent off Tuesday and once Mikel Arteta saw that, he pulled the young full-back after 35 minutes. With Riccardo Calafiori and Ben White healthy, Arteta has a decent range of full-backs to turn to for the final few monaths. Lewis-Skelly has been the prefered left-back, but after a couple reds and close to another this week, that could change.
MARCH 7 • ROTOWIRE
Available for return Lewis-Skelly is available for Premier League action after serving a one-match ban.
Impact Lewis-Skelly served his ban during a scoreless draw with Nottingham Forest and is now eligible to return once more. With other full-back options now fit, Lewis-Skelly will likely rotate in and out of the starting XI, especially with Riccardo Calafiori.
