Impact Miguel Tapias was integral to the Minnesota clean sheet effort Saturday as the Loons held on for a 1 - 0 victory over Vancouver. Signs with Minnesota Tapias will make a move to the U.S after agreeing to a three year contract to Minnesota F.C from Pachuca with a club option for 2026, the club announced.

Impact Tapias will make a move to the MLS, having previously played five seasons in Liga MX with Pachuca. He will join the team pending a physical and will use an international spot on the roster. Tapias will be a big plus for Minnesota's defense, in which he had logged in 45 clearances in 13 appearances with Pachuca already. He will look to complete for the starting center-back position with Michael Boxall, Brent Kallman and Bakaye Dibassy (quadriceps).
