Signs with Getafe Romero completed a permanent transfer to Getafe from Club Brugge on a contract through 2030, the club announced.

Impact Romero returns after a successful loan spell during the second half of last season, when he made 15 appearances and scored one goal. The 26-year-old center-back quickly adapted to the squad and impressed with his defensive reliability and strength in the air, earning the opportunity to remain with the club on a permanent basis. Having already established familiarity with the system and coaching staff, Romero should be well positioned to compete for a regular role in central defense heading into the new campaign.
