Impact Having Real back would add some much-needed depth to the squad defensively, as he can play as a left-back or even center-back if needed. Impact Real rolled his ankle in training, and it makes no sense for the Union to risk him in the season finale after they already clinched a playoff berth, especially if the starter at left-back, Kai Wagner, is available. Real has made just five starts across 13 appearances for the Union in 2023, racking up one assist and three shots.
