Extends contract with Houston Vera has signed a two-year contract extension with Houston with the option for another year, the Dynamo announced Monday.

Impact Vera is coming off his best season out of his three so far in Houston with three goals and an assist in 29 MLS starts, and the 26-year-old has signed on until 2023 at least.

Impact Vera was tremendous at some points and absolutely awful at others. His offensive talents certainly showed in the draw, with multiple well-placed passes and crosses. However, his energy and efforts off the ball were little to none. Thanks to the lack of effort, Portland was able to tie the match up in the final minutes. Vera is definitely consistent, but he does not provide much in terms of fantasy.
