Matheo Raab - Soccer News, Rumors, & Updates | FOX Sports

No saves in draw Raab had no saves and allowed three goals in Saturday's 3-3 draw versus Eintracht Frankfurt.

Impact Raab faced just three shots during Saturday's draw and only managed to come away with a draw as he saved none of them. To call that disappointing would be an understatement, even a single save would have been enough to earn the win on a day his offense did everything he could have asked. Raab has a difficult trip to Leverkusen next week to try and bounce back.

Sees time in friendly Raab (hand) played 45 minutes in a 12-2 friendly win over FSV Optik Rathenow on July 4.

Impact Raab was back in action as Union Berlin kicked off their pre-season training, as the goalie played for 45 minutes in a friendly win. This is good news for the keeper after he ended last season injured, although he did serve as the club's backup keeper. That said, he is not likely to take over Frederik Ronnow for the starting role and is now facing a possible move out of the club, leaving Raab's future very open moving forward.

Could be done for season Raab has been reported to have suffered a broken hand and will miss the rest of the season, according to Jo Meissner of Bild.de.

Impact Raab was already known to be dealing with a hand injury but could be looking at a worse outcome, as the goalie has been claimed to have suffered a broken hand. With only a few months left in the season, this would likely end his campaign. He is their backup, so if this claim is true, it is a minor loss, as Frederick Ronnow (ankle) is training and fit again.

Out for time being Raab (hand) is out for the time being due to a hand injury, his club confirmed.

Impact Raab ended his first start of the season in pain after punching a ball, leading to a hand injury that will leave him out for the time being. He can be expected to miss out until at least after the international break, likely to be assessed during the break. Frederik Ronnow (ankle) will likely work back into his starting role over the next week after losing their backup keeper.

Suffers hand injury Raab made six saves and kept a clean sheet before ending Sunday's 1-0 victory against Freiburg with a hand injury that doesn't look good, he commented to the media, according to Ki...

Impact Raab got the starting nod in Sunday's win over Freiburg due to the recent injury to Frederik Ronnow (ankle) but picked up an issue of his own late in the match while trying to punch away a cross. The backup goalkeeper will be evaluated over the coming days to determine the extent of the problem and whether he will need time on the sidelines to recover. The club will be hoping the injury is minor because if both keepers are unavailable, third keeper option Carl Klaus would have to step in between the posts.

Transfers to Berlin Raab has completed a transfer to Union Berlin from Hamburger, according to his new club.

Impact Raab is seeing a new club in the next stage of his career, but will remain in Germany, having joined Union Berlin. This is an interesting move for the keeper, as he has yet to earn minutes in a competition better than the second tier of German football, mainly serving as a backup throughout his career. That said, he will likely see a similar role with Berlin, serving as second or third in line as goalie.
