Impact Mehlem's loss is not what they were looking for at this time, as they have now lost one of their regular starters as they battle the relegation zone, now being four points from the relegation play-offs and 12 points from safety. This is also a brutal outcome for the player, as he will need anywhere from eight to 12 weeks before he can even start his rehabilitation process from the issue, most likely keeping him out until the next campaign. This will require some changing around within the starting XI, with Tobias Kempe most likely taking over Mehlem's starting spot for the rest of the season.
