Returns to Union Berlin Ljubicic will return to parent club Union Berlin following the conclusion of his loan spell at Fortuna Dusseldorf.

Impact Ljubicic joined Dusseldorf in January to gain regular second division playing time after scoring twice in just 20 minutes of action for Union earlier in the season, providing the relegation-threatened Dusseldorf side with an attacking option at a critical stage of their campaign. Ljubicic now heads back to Union Berlin where his future will be assessed heading into the 2026/27 Bundesliga season.
