Transfers to Feyenoord Lopez has joined Feyenoord from San Jose Earthquakes, it was announced Monday. He's signed a contract through 2026 with the Dutch club.

Impact Lopez earned this move with consistent play and after starting in 16 of his 17 appearances in 2022, he'll try his luck in Europe. At his former club, Paul Marie has taken over the starting job at left-back as suspected.

Picks up red card in draw Lopez was sent off during Sunday's 2-2 draw with Real Salt Lake.

Impact Lopez already picked up one suspension this season for accumulation and will now miss Wednesday's match against Inter Miami, at the least. Rumors of a transfer could make this ban moot but for now he won't be eligible and Paul Marie could fill in at left-back.
