Contract negotiations ongoing Silva's contract with Real Salt Lake has run out but the club remains actively engaged with the player about a potential new deal.

Impact Silva has been a regular with RSL for the last six years and 2022 was his best season yet as he kept 10 clean sheets and scored two goals in 32 MLS appearances (all starts) from central defense. The 33-year-old would become a free agent if no new deal is agreed upon by Nov. 14, but it would be a surprise to see Salt Lake let one of their club captains leave this offseason.
