Signs with Brighton Cucurella has completed a move to Brighton, signing a five-year deal from Getafe.

Impact Cucurella is a nice signing for Brighton just before the end of the window. He gives them another option on the left wing, an area they've struggled with when Solly March has been hurt. He's started 37 matches each of the last two seasons at Getafe and while he doesn't have huge numbers, scoring four goals with seven assists in that period, he's done it from 56 shots and 92 chances created.

Impact Cucurella is expected to transfer to Brighton after the Seagulls paid his release clause Monday morning, so there shouldn't be any reason to suspect an injury or other causes for his absence just yet. In his absence, Carles Alena and Vitolo will try to play more creative roles on the wings.
