Trending in wrong direction Sangare played 21 minutes off the bench in Brentford's 3-0 win over Chelsea on Sept. 18, marking the first time he didn't start a game for the Bees.

Impact Sangare dazzled with an assist in his EPL debut and started in Brentford's first four EPL contests. However, he came off the bench against the Blues, and his impact was limited in a 21-minute cameo. It remains to be seen whether he'll recover his starting role when Brentford take on Aston Villa on Oct. 10 when the league resumes after the international break.

Impact Sangare was active from midfield during the first half, attempting two shots in just 45 minutes and regularly looking to push into more advanced areas before being withdrawn at the break. That performance continued an encouraging start to the season for the summer arrival from Lens, whose physicality, ball-carrying ability and willingness to progress play have already been evident. Those qualities give Brentford a dynamic two-way presence in central midfield and should keep Sangare heavily involved as the season develops.
