Set to leave Atlanta Araujo has played his final game for Atlanta United, The Striker's Sam Jones reported Sunday as Araujo is heavily linked with a move to Flamengo this summer.
Impact Araujo's departure after two calendar years in Atlanta has not been confirmed by the club, but the winger never looked fully settled in MLS despite tallying 11 goals and nine assists in the competition since joining from Lille in August 2021. Derrick Etienne could be set to take over his spot in the XI if Araujo does indeed leave Atlanta soon.
