Waived by New England Diaz has been waived by New England and will become a free agent, the club announced Thursday.

Impact Diaz was limited to only one start and 383 minutes across 19 appearances this season. His departure from the New England roster shouldn't cause much of an issue in most fantasy formats.

Impact Diaz spent the 2023 season with the Rapids, where he made three appearances, but he had decent moments in a previous MLS stint with Columbus between 2019 to 2022. If he's able to stay healthy, then Diaz should add some much needed depth in the attacking third due to his ability to play on both flanks of the attack.
