Impact Beraldo picked up a yellow card for a bad foul in the 15th minute of Sunday's match, then picked up another booking in the 40th minute. That second offense was then reviewed by VAR and the referee changed the decision to a straight red card. While the ultimate punishment will be reviewed by the disciplinary committee, he will at least be suspended for Saturday's match versus Clermont Foot.

Impact Beraldo will join the top five leagues in Europe after starting his professional career in his home town Brazil. His first professional club was Sao Paulo, playing in two seasons with the side. Last season, the defender recorded 24 appearances while scoring a goal while played in all 90 minutes of every game played. The young 20-year-old is expected to be a main option off the bench in the defense until he gains more experience playing in France.
