Unused in Udinese match Colombo (back) didn't play in Saturday's 3-2 loss to Udinese.

Impact Colombo shook off a back problem but didn't get minutes, as the coach picked Ebenezer Akinsanmiro and Michael Folorunsho over him off the bench. He was a regular in Serie B but faces significantly more competition after the summer window, even though Matteo Pessina (knee) is currently injured.

Selected for Udinese game Colombo (back) has been named in Monza's squad to face Udinese on Saturday.

Impact Colomba is returning after dealing with a back injury late in the summer and missing the opener. The Monza midfield will be in better shape thanks to his return and Ebenezer Akinsanmiro's (illness) one, but Mathis Mout and Foe Ondoa will likely get the nod again. He posted one goal and two assists in 27 appearances in Serie B last season.

Sidelined for Inter tilt Colombo won't be selected for Saturday's clash with Inter, coach Ivan Juric relayed.

Impact Colombo dealt with back issues throughout the summer, although the manager didn't confirm the reason behind his absence at this time. He joins Ebenezer Akinsanmiro (undisclosed) and Matteo Pessina (knee) on the mend, leaving Mathis Mout and Foe Ondoa as the only central midfielders standing.
