Impact Ojeda had recorded an assist in the loss to New York Red Bulls, his first goal involvement since May 2, part of a stretch that saw him combine for two shots and three chances created across two starts following the World Cup. This surgery now cuts short that recent momentum, and his extended absence will be a notable loss for Orlando's midfield creativity through the fall stretch of the season. Luis Otavio is expected to get a larger role for the Lions in his absence.
