Impact Casado had been feared to have suffered the injury after Sunday's match, with coach Antonio Hidalgo saying at the time it that is looked bad pending further testing, and this surgery now confirms the diagnosis. Luismi Cruz figures to reenter the starting lineup in his absence, with Diego Villares also likely to see more playing time as Casado begins what could be a recovery of around three months.

Lorenzo Amatucci - Misses due to adductor issue Amatucci missed Sunday's 1-1 draw against Real Betis due to workload management, according to coach Antonio Hidalgo. "Amat had what we talked about a bit regarding load management,...

Impact Amatucci had been an ever presence in the midfield for Depor this season, contributing one assist, three chances created, 18 tackles and 17 clearances in six La Liga appearances. This precautionary absence does not appear to be serious, and his return should come once he has had sufficient time to recover during the international break.

Luismi Cruz - Flurry of service off the bench Luismi Cruz had nine crosses (four accurate) and seven corners in Sunday's 1-1 draw against Betis.

Impact Cruz put up impressive service numbers in just 25 minutes of action, though it didn't translate to an assist for the attacker. If he gets moved back to the starting lineup, he should be able to translate this volume into a good offensive showing against Real Sociedad. Real Sociedad have allowed 13 goals already across seven LaLiga games this season.

Giacomo Quagliata - Struggles in service Quagliata recorded one shot (zero on goal), eight crosses (two accurate) and three corners in Sunday's 1-1 draw versus Betis.

Impact Quagliata had volume but not efficiency as only two of his eight crosses were considered accurate. If he can be more on point, he has a great chance to exploit Real Sociedad after the break. Real Sociedad have allowed 13 goals in LaLiga play this season.

Mario Carreno - Gets late assist Soriano Carreno assisted once to go with two shots (zero on goal), two crosses (one accurate) and three chances created in Sunday's 1-1 draw versus Betis.

Impact Carreno was back in the starting lineup and was strong offensively across the board, getting a late assist to give Deportivo one point. The forward should be able to replicate this effort against a Real Sociedad team that has a minus-4 goal differential through seven LaLiga games.

Diego Villares - Nets late equalizer Villares scored one goal to go with one shot (one on goal) and one chance created in Sunday's 1-1 draw against Betis.

Impact Villares scored in the 87th minute to give Deportivo one point from Sunday's encounter. The midfielder could be asked to provide a spark off the bench against Real Sociedad and could duplicate this effort. Real Sociedad have allowed 13 goals across seven LaLiga games this season.

Leo Roman - Gives up one goal Leo Roman made two saves and allowed one goal in Sunday's 1-1 draw versus Betis.

Impact Roman was steady after allowing a goal just before halftime, helping keep his team in the match and ultimately was rewarded with a point. The goalkeeper will likely be tested more in his next match against Real Sociedad, a side that has nine goals in LaLiga play this season.
