GAME LOG

Struggling with ankle Stewart-Baynes was recalled from loan due to an ankle injury, Colorado announced.
Impact Stewart-Baynes suffered an ankle injury with Lexington SC and has now returned to Colorado to rehab. The striker will be out for a significant period of time with the ankle injury. Even when fit he wasn't in any real competition for first team minutes with the Rapids.
AUGUST 19 • ROTOWIRE
Available as substitute Saturday Stewart-Baynes (illness) is on the bench for Saturday's clash against Portland Timbers.
Impact Stewart-Baynes has barely played this year even when healthy, and that is likely to remain the case going forward. The young attacker previously delivered an assist in 90 minutes of play across eight matches. He was used as Jonathan Lewis' backup in most of his most recent appearances.
SEPTEMBER 14, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Out to face Dallas Stewart-Baynes (illness) is out for Saturday's match against Dallas.
Impact Stewart-Baynes will miss out Saturday just ahead of the international break, as he is dealing with an illness. Luckily for the club, this is a minor absence, as he has yet to earn a start this campaign. He should be available for their next match, having two weeks to recover from his problems.
AUGUST 31, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Available Sunday Stewart-Baynes (groin) is among his team's substitutes to face St. Louis City on Sunday.
Impact Stewart-Baynes hasn't played since May 5 due to the problem but resumed training sessions in late June. Even before getting hurt, the attacker didn't have regular playing time, although he did assist in one of his few appearances as Oliver Larraz's replacement.
JULY 7, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Training individually Stewart-Baynes (groin) has been running and training individually, according to Braidon Nourse of the Denver Post.
Impact Stewart-Baynes is likely still some time away from a return but is at least training again, as he has started to train individually following the groin issue he picked up. That said, he probably won't be on the field before the end of June, with a return in early to mid-July being more reasonable.
JUNE 24, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Sidelines again Stewart-Baynes (groin) is out for Wednesday's match against Houston.
Impact Stewart-Baynes is still yet to recover from his groin issues, now missing his fifth straight game due to the complications. However, the forward has yet to start this season, so his absence is a minor issue, as he shouldn't be expected to get much time either way.
MAY 29, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Remains out Saturday Stewart-Baines (groin) is out for Saturday's game against Minnesota United.
Impact Stewart-Baynes is set to miss a fourth consecutive, but his return wouldn't matter much in terms of fantasy potential, as he's yet to make a start this season while logging more than 20 minutes off the bench just once. His next chance to play will come against Houston on May 29.
MAY 24, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Out due to groin injury Stewart-Baynes is not an option for Saturday's match against San Jose due to a groin issue, according to the MLS injury Report.
Impact Stewart-Baynes is heading back to the injury list, this time due to a groin issue he appears to have picked up mid-week. He has yet to gain a start and has only appeared off the bench, so this is a minor absence for the club, as he will now start to work on a return, hoping to be available for their next contest.
MAY 10, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Back on bench Stewart-Baynes (illness) is on the bench for Saturday's clash with Dallas.
Impact Stewart-Baynes missed one match with an illness but is now back on the bench. The forward is likely a depth option even when fully fit with just three appearances off the bench during the first eight matches of the season.
APRIL 20, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Picks up illness Stewart-Baynes will not be an option Saturday against San Jose due to an illness, according to the MLS injury report.
Impact Stewart-Baynes is once again heading back to the injury list, appearing to have picked up an illness mid-week that will now force him to miss Saturday's contest. Luckily for the club, he has only appeared off the bench in all three of his appearances this season, so his loss will be a minor issue, with the player's next chance to return being April 20 against Dallas.
APRIL 12, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Assists late winner versus LAFC Stewart-Baynes assisted once to go with one shot (zero on goal), one cross (zero accurate) and one chance created in Saturday's 3-2 win against Los Angeles Football Club.
Impact Stewart-Baynes recorded his first career MLS goal contribution Saturday and it came at the perfect time. In the 89th minute with the match tied at two goals a piece, his headed pass set up Djordje Mihailovic's match-winning goal to steal three points from LAFC. It was the only chance Stewart-Baynes created in the match and he added one off-target shot and one inaccurate cross in his 10 minutes off the bench.
MARCH 31, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Out once again Stewart-Baynes (illness) is out for Saturday's match against Seattle.
Impact Stewart-Baynes continues on the sidelines, still having yet to make his season debut due to an illness he picked up just before the start of the campaign. However, the 19-year-old does not look to be a big part of the team this season, so his absence should be a minimal issue. He will now look to get back on the team sheet against Houston on March 23.
MARCH 16, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Opens season ill Stewart-Baynes (illness) was not an option for the first three matches of the season.
Impact Stewart-Baynes signed his first MLS contract after he was drafted by the tea from the University of Maryland. He will look to recover for Saturday's trip to Seattle.
MARCH 12, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Signs contract with Rapids Stewart-Baynes signed a three-year contract with the Rapids with options for both 2027 and 2028, the club announced.
Impact Stewart-Baynes was a freshman at the University of Maryland last season, scoring three goals and delivering seven assists in his 14-game debut campaign. A pacey winger, he needs time to develop further and get used to the pro ranks, so his chances of playing a role for Colorado in 2024 are slim to none.
