Successfully undergoes surgery Vermeer has undergone surgery on a torn pectoral muscle and will miss the rest of the season, his club announced Wednesday.
Impact Vermeer reportedly suffered the injury in training a week before this news and will miss the rest of 2022 without playing in a single MLS contest. Roman Celentano will continue to man the net, though there hasn't been much success in goal for Vermeer and his teammates this season.
